It is nice to be here, what a beautiful day outside.

It's good to be here, good to see you.

We've had a busy couple of weeks, busier than I think a lot of people thought was going to be able for them to get these things that they got done done.

Yeah, and really one of the busiest couple of weeks of many team in the National Football League when you think about all the bodies that were added to the cross-country.

Yeah, because I think, and I'm sure you picked up these vibes, but around town I think a lot of people were really fearful when they heard, wow they're so far over the cap.

But I mean, they knew they were that far over the cap and they were just moving things around a bit of a shell game and they get down and they get into a healthy situation and then they spend.

But then I think when they didn't get Given Hargrave, when the bell rang, I think a lot of people panicked and said, oh my gosh, what are they going to be able to do now?

Are they going to be able to do anything?

Yeah.

And then they did, I mean, and they've really done it very systematically as they have in the past, but it's had a very high rate, a higher rate of signings than I thought.

Yeah, and I think what was interesting coming out of Andrew Barry's talk at the owner's meeting was that they didn't think they were going to be able to get a safety that was going to have a significant contract.

And I think it's kind of easy to do the math and you look at what Given Hargrave got paid by the 49ers and say, okay, well the Browns were into the end.

They were able to end up getting Dalvin Tomlinson and Juan Thornhill for the same amount of money.

So you were able to get a defensive tackle, you were able to get an edge, you were able to get a safety, bring back a lot of those linebackers.
