Welcome everybody Wednesday edition of the Clay Travis and Bucks Xton Show.

Got a lot of stories to talk to you about today, but nothing is at the same level right now of

urgency and importance as this incredibly powerful storm that is just as we speak to you

coming on shore now. The eye wall of Hurricane Ian is making landfall in the state of Florida.

You're going to be seeing a lot of news coverage all over the place about this. It is just shy based

on the the wind that they're estimating that's going to be for this storm just shy of a

category five. So it's kind of a category four plus hurricane that is making landfalls.

We speak to you right now. Governor Rondis Santos was telling everybody this morning about days

and days of preparation. There was a phone call with Joe Biden finally will discuss that in a moment.

And then some some other things that we'll get to today. Interesting analysis this morning from

Mike Allen of Axios co-founder of the Vaxios on TV talking about what the primary midterm issue is

for for Democrats, not for the electorate, but for Democrats and Clay, it is threats to our

democracy. I think there's a lot. A lot that we're going to have to make of this one because that's

showing you number two for them is abortion number one is threats to democracy. We'll talk about

that later on in the program also Joe Biden. I mean, there's a moment here where another one where

I know they tell us he sharp as attack behind closed doors. You just don't see it. It's what the press

core on the White House is always saying press core White House same thing, by the way, they are

effectively employees of this White House with with some notable exceptions. We'll certainly discuss

that in mayor Eric Adams also says that New York has a brand. The mayor of New York City says New

York has a brand. Kansas does not though really a snide comment about Kansas and we will break down.
