Well, I love that we're talking about leadership and how to be an effective leader even when we're not in charge.

So many of us as parents of adult children are interested in this topic or people

who work in positions where we're trying to get the team together, but we haven't been

bestowed with authority to command people what to do. So let's go back and find out a little

bit about how you got to where you are. Your ministry is primarily focused on leadership development.

Why did you step away from your role as a pastor?

Well, I still preach a lot at churches, so I still feel very connected to the local church,

our family, still a part of the church that I worked for for almost 20 years.
