posting them up on YouTube as well as obviously Spotify and everywhere else but I've got the great

Clay Hayes Clay you won season 8 of alone and yeah dude you crushed it on there and how

cares how much your life has changed since then, but how's things going?

It's going good, man. Everything is going really, really well. Got so much freedom,

and that is, that's freaking awesome. so much go and do and do as I'm

freaking awesome pretty much go and do as I please.

Yeah, heck yeah.

Well, for those who don't know which I can't believe there's too many out there

they probably don't tell everybody a little bit about yourself and that type of stuff.

All right.

Well, I basically just a country boy grew up in the panhandle of Florida back when that was a rural part.

It's pretty much getting swallowed up by Pensacola and all the other development down there nowadays but when I was a kid I mean there was

Swamps and Pine Woods and it's just I grew up in a catching catfish on the river in a John boat and running around chasing

quail through the woods with a BB gun doing all the other fun stuff that's getting hard to come by these days.

And just kind of always dreamed about being out west,

being in the mountains, and started looking for a way

to make that happen.

Went to college and ended up getting a master's degree in wildlife ecology and became a

wildlife biologist and that took me to Idaho, which is where I am now've been out here since 2007, I think.

That whole time I was super into traditional archery and bow making and kind of wilderness skills, survival type stuff and just kind of never grew out of that and eventually figured out a way to make that what I do for a living, which has been awesome.

And that led to me being on a TV show called Alone and by some
