Hello welcome back to the show Justin Brielly here with another classic replay from our

unbelievable archive and going back this week to a two-parter from November 2012.

This was the first of two shows where I was joined by Tim Morsehn, the Oxford philosopher,

whose paper, praying to stop being an atheist, inspired something that we called the atheist

prayer experiment.

This was a really memorable set of shows.

It was part of a big project at the time.

71 Atheists and Agnostics signed up to this experiment, committing to pray for God

to reveal himself to them over 40 days.

Well, did anyone end up believing in God?

We'd revealed the results and heard from a variety of people who took part, including Andrew,

Kendra, Laura and Frecki, as well as exploring questions that arose.

And we confronted questions such as, was this really an experiment?

What does an atheist pray anyway?

Does it matter which God has been prayed to do the results have any bearing on the question

of God's existence?

So lots to get stuck into it as we unpack how that prayer experiment went a decade ago.
