You're in the Pericast, the gold standard of paranormal radio.

And now here's Gene Steppenberg.

0:32.6

So, as we put together the episode for last week with Colin Bennett, who wrote the book on Edward Rupelt,

0:39.5

UFOs over the White House, flying saucers over the White House, whatever, I must say I was gobsmacked how confusing his conversation was.

0:49.5

Yeah, it was kind of tough to wait through at times, but you just got to admire the man for the amount of work he's done over the years. He's very entertaining. He's quite the character. And I really did enjoy the book. I felt his insight, personal opinion about Rupelt's process, I think it was spot on.

1:13.6

I think he really brought up some very interesting points.

1:16.0

I think his analysis of Rupelt's process and the people around him was spot on.

1:22.5

And I think it's a real, you know, I think a good addition to, you know, the whole Project Blue Book historical

1:51.8

members of his family or people who knew him. That was a little puzzling and surprising,

1:57.5

2:02.8

you could have written emails you could have tried you a little google research and said okay let's see

2:07.8

now what was the name of his wife can i find that person is she still alive did he have children

2:13.5

you know what can i think that would have fleshed out the narrative quite a bit um i think

2:18.4

he's really into uh writing and he's a very good writer and some of his turns or phrase were

2:25.2

quite memorable don't ask me uh to recite one because i can't remember uh quite memorable except

2:32.8

that you couldn't remember one well he's just very entertaining as a writer

2:37.0

and you know being an aspiring writer myself i i can really appreciate someone that's got

2:42.2

some real writing talent which he does obviously and one thing that we didn't talk about was the
