John, when most people are 15 years old, they're playing guitar or they're playing baseball or looking for girlfriends,

apparently you decide to start a very interesting and intriguing website.

How did that come to pass?

Well, I was 15 years old, and really I have no more exciting answer than it was curiosity. It was driven just by curiosity and started looking into UFOs on the

internet, and you know, you see the same rehash stories all the time, but what was intriguing was

when I came across a site

on UFO documents. It was a four-page document from the U.S. government and talked about how to

obtain it under the Freedom of Information Act. And I didn't even know what the Freedom of Information

Act was, but it said if you wanted this document to print this letter out, put your name on it,

and sure enough, you should get the document back. So I figured, well, what the heck? What could a stamp hurt? And sure

enough, the document was real. And it read like an X-Files episode. So for the government to actually

be sending this to me, I just thought it was fascinating. So I went back on the internet, searched

frantically for anything that I could find on it. And there was really no government documents on the internet, searched frantically for anything that I could find on it. And there was

really no government documents on the internet at this time. This was over a decade ago. So I thought,

well, let me just start filing these Freedom of Information Act requests, because if they have

this document, they should have more. Well, all right, what was the document? What did it contain?

In uphology, it's been infamously known as the 1976 Iran incident.

And it was out before.

It wasn't the first time that this was declassified.

The UFO community had talked about it for many years before I was around.
