Summary
Here’s another chance to hear my interview with Chris Waddle from season one.
Chris describes his Marseilles days and scoring a remarkable goal against PSG, which really launched his career in France. Chris believes the money has to drain out of English football for it to reform root and branch and get back to proper player development. Part two also stars Eric Cantona, Franz Beckenbauer, and Enzo Francescoli.

| 0:54.8 | physiques, but they would glide past footballers A, as if they were on roller skates |
| 0:59.8 | and B, as if they had the same low center of gravity as a Ramiro or a Peli or a Maradon or a messy. |

| 1:14.8 | catching my attention there and then dazzling again at spurs as far as I was concerned. |
| 1:20.3 | There wasn't non-stop sky television or YouTube internet in order to keep up with the way he was playing. |
| 1:26.0 | So from intermittent television clips and from the written press, |
| 1:30.0 | what it appeared to me that he was playing even more brilliantly in France than he had in England |
| 1:36.1 | and that he was a prince amongst poppers in the French League. |
| 1:40.0 | Over the years we've shared conversations about skills development, about what he does and |
| 1:44.8 | doesn't think about great footballers, modern footballers. |
| 1:49.2 | So we knew we had to go and talk to him and when he welcomed us to his house, going up the stairs to his private room where there |
