All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of The Teardown, the post-race podcast edition.

My name is Jeff Gluck, and I'm along with my coworker, Jordan Bianchi.

We are writers for The Athletic, and I am here at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum

in a replay booth.

I guess it's a coach's booth of some kind,

overlooking the track.

And as Brent Gamble from NASCAR track PR just observed as he was helping me get in this room,

he said, you know, he's a listener to the tear down.

He said, you know, you're actually going to be witnessing a teardown as you record the tear down.

As I talk right now to you, Jordan, they are moving the barriers out.

They're moving those walls out of the track already.

They have tractors down there and forklifts,

and they are getting ready to tear the track apart.

They have to be out of here.

They're wasting time.

No, they have to be out of here in two weeks, less than two weeks.

There's a rugby game, rugby game here in three weeks from today on a grass field.

So they have to completely tear this apart.

But that gives us an opportunity to tear down this wonderful race and wonderful event, in my opinion, that happened today.
