I want to talk about the tragic loss of life in a suburb of Phoenix when an Uber car that

had a driver in the driver's seat who was not paying attention and was one that Uber

was testing self-driving technologies, plowed into a woman at full speed and killed her.

And it has led Uber to suspend its self-driving car program and brought a lot of questions

up about other efforts at autonomous vehicles, including the autonomous helicopters and drones

for various purposes.

And I will tell you that I am very much a believer in these technologies and what happened

in the case of Uber was a tragic loss of life.

But there is no doubt in my mind that we're moving into an era where the way we do things

transporting ourselves and transporting goods is going to go through a major, major overhaul.

And trucking is just one example because trucking is almost certainly going to go into automatic

mode over the long haul on freeway drives in rural areas that trucks will be, they'll
