Speaking of deals, a week ago I addressed something on the air and I promised you that I would follow up this week.

So last week I talked about the enormous problems that consumers are having all around America with getting AT&T to honor prices that you would have.

Who have been offered for combo service deals with AT&T?

I don't know if you've received any direct mailings at your house but if you live in an AT&T home phone area, you may have received dozens or more of these solicitations in the mail.

If you do not live in an AT&T home service area, you may have received such offers trying to get you to do AT&T wireless in combination with direct TV.

So what AT&T has been doing is they've been offering impossibly low rates that are screaming deals for as an example.

And it's all various combos but the most popular around the country has been getting home internet from AT&T tied in with direct TV.

And this is something that if you could get it would be great.

But CBS News has done a number of investigative reports about people signing up for the combo deals and not getting them and then being completely unable to get anybody at AT&T customer no service and call after call after call to get the problem solved.

And this is something that has been documented in thousands of cases and we've heard it from people scatter shot.

And so I was like, gosh AT&T's got to do better.

So our producer Joel reached out to AT&T and summarized the issue and said, here's the problem.
