This is a terrible terrible burden on people and is costing a lot of people their lives because a third of all

Prescriptions written are abandoned before being filled because you just flat out can't afford that prescription

And this is an ongoing problem that is believe it or not unique in the United States

I want you to understand how the whole rest of the world has manipulated us and here's how it plays

Everywhere else in the world there are tight caps on what a drug company can sell its drugs for

And so a drug that maybe in the United States could be hundreds of dollars for a prescription might be $7 equivalent in another country

You know so many Americans that live in border states cross into Canada to fill prescriptions because many prescriptions are a tiny fraction of the cost across the Canadian border

What they are in the United States and that's because we are the only ones with prescription drugs playing a full free market thing
