2:14.0 | Three years ago, I asked you to do something for our country and it involved a dirty rotten sneaky attempt to put toll gates on the internet. |
2:32.0 | And many of you took up that call from me three years ago and did something so unusual where you filled out electronically a comment to an obscure federal agency telling them to leave their cotton pick and hands off of your internet. |
2:56.0 | Well, now here we are three years later and it's come up again because industry lobbyists for the monopoly phone companies and cable companies again are at it trying to put in place toll gates on the internet. |

3:16.0 | Okay, so you and I already pay a monthly fee to have internet service at our home or business. |
3:25.0 | And there have been some really despicable practices by some of the monopoly players where when an internet service like one of the examples was netflix last time. |
3:39.0 | Netflix users suddenly couldn't watch Netflix videos they were subscribing to and the reason was the internet provider that those customers were using said to Netflix you either pay us money or we are going to ruin your customers experiences watching Netflix videos. |
4:08.0 | And that's what led to the rules three years ago that outlawed the practice of treating different internet sites differently. |
4:20.0 | Now they're back at it trying to put the toll gates back in place and what it means is it's a direct threat to your and my free speech forget a Netflix movie. |
4:34.0 | If you are a website small one the danger is that someone at an internet provider will say well you know they're not paying us a toll. |
