Speaking of bargains, if you love a steak, if you love a hamburger sizzling on the grill, this year's cookout season is going to smile on your wallet.

After several years of the price of beef going sky high this year, we got bargains coming.

The price of meat because of an oversupply of cows is down, down, down.

And supermarkets once again are in a position to offer sales on beef.

In the prior years, the sales have been few and far between and pretty pitiful.

Now we're back to real bargains. So vegetarians, I'm sorry, there's nothing in this for you.

But if you were a beefitarian like I am, this is a great opportunity for you to save.

One thing I've noticed is I haven't seen restaurants putting meat on sale.

But what I have seen is more choices on the value meals at the fast food restaurants, where a lot of beef items had been pushed off the value meals menus or had been pushed up in price.

They're now back.

And that's a direct result of the fact that the cost of beef is coming down.
