We have reached the end of yes another tumultuous week ladies and gentlemen

and we are still still here meanwhile the brexit negotiations are entering the last chance saloon

again the government has once more warned us that ties of restrictions might be required for the latest

COVID outbreaks in london schools and wales is still a basket case after all nothing much changes

really does it let's say we'll be picking up the baton of public service with our favourite statistician, Jamie Jenkins, to get a handle on just where all this pre-Christmas cheer is going to lead us,

because at the end of the day, the figures that we are being told are showing up rather than down really aren't particularly convincing, as far as I'm concerned.

And if you're living in Wales right now, you must be thinking,

Blimey, they're now shutting the schools, there's words and talk that they're going to sell no alcohol whatsoever,

apart from online, that you'll be banned from buying it in the supermarket.

We're told that London might be going into tier three, all because of one particular

borough, which is so far east of London, that it's not really in London. It's closer to France than

it is to London Bridge, as far as I'm concerned. So what on earth is going on? We'll also be talking

to Simon Calder, who is, of course, the travel guru from the independent. He'll be telling us why

there's now a problem with the Canary Islands, and we'll be checking in with our showbys expert, Johnny Sefer, for an

appreciation of Dame Barbara Windsor, Babs, who passed away last night peacefully at her home. If

anybody ever personified what it is about Britain that everybody loves, I think it's Barbara

Windsor, isn't it? I can't imagine anyone not wondering

why and what is going to happen to her next and just generally enjoying the stuff that she used to do.

Forget about what she did at EastEnders because Johnny is a big EastEnders fan. Just remember

all of her career, the carry-on films, all the famous scenes that we all remember so well,
