More and more of us are being vaccinated, and in the areas that are exercising caution

the virus numbers, hospitalizations, and deaths are going down, way down.

My hometown of Los Angeles is opening up again, and that includes movie theaters.

Yes, it's only to 25% capacity, and with limited items available at the snack bar, but they are open.

How's it going to play out?

That's a mystery.

Have the movie goers of America gotten used to accessing their new movies at home through

streaming and on-demand choices?

Will they come back to the cinemas to watch them as God intended?

The shared experience of a play concert or a movie is an important element that I've missed.

It's particularly important for the horror genre.

Fear is best shared, and sharing the experience amplifies the experience.

Sitting in front of your iPad to watch a scary movie will rarely raise goose bumps.

But fear, like laughter, is contagious.
