Hello again, I'm Orman Alney, and this is To the Point from Public Radio International,

a daily look at the issues. Americans care about most. The debate is over

in Congress, but we've not heard the last of the new law for interrogations and trials of

terrorist suspects. The Justice Department has already gone to court, even though some Republicans

who supported the bill said it's probably unconstitutional. On to the point, when will

alleged coordinators of September 11th be brought

before military tribunals? Do other prisoners now face unlimited detention without getting their

day in court? Does the president now have sole power to tell the CIA what is torture and what is

not? On reporter's notebook later on, expanding the Panama Canal.
