Born in Belgium in 1958, Dries van Noten is the third generation in a family of tailors. He is

operating his business independently from Antwerp and having global impact. It's one of the few

global fashion businesses in the world that is independently owned and managed. And Dries has an

atelier in Calcutta and India. He has clients all over the world. So how does he operate and grow

Citizens of the world. I think the world became one big global place and of course for me being a fashion

designer, inspired by the world, looking at the world, being a very curious person. I want to learn, I want to see, I want to experience things.

So for me, it's like, it's an ideal situation.
