A very important member of the college football media and the Alabama family passed away.

Cecil Hart, you and I both know him.

And we didn't know him the way our colleague, Aaron Suttles, did.

He wrote a very beautiful tribute to his mentor and close friend. I want to ask you

what you're what you'll think of most and remember most fondly about Cecil Hurt.

I think I'll I'll remember first of all was really just really sad to we had you know,

there were indications that he wasn't doing well. He'd been in the hospital for a few weeks.

But still, when I saw Aaron's tweet that he had died,

it was really one of those, you know, where you're just like kind of,

you have to stop and think and really process it.

Just every time, look, because of Nick Saban, I've covered a lot of Alabama games over the last

decade plus.

And of course, Cecil was always there.

And usually, frankly, was one of the first people I would see when I stepped foot in the

press box.

You know, he, I think he really enjoyed talking to the out of town media when they came through.

We always had good conversations.

And of course, and Aaron mentioned this in his column, the Internet has kind of, for the most part, made it.
