It's been almost a whole month since we've gotten together for a podcast.

So we have a lot to talk about with you.

Since our emergency podcasts about Iran, huh? Yeah. I mean, we, we, we, we, we interviewed Yasha Levine together, but we definitely went down the rabbit hole of his specific blog series. So we didn't really have a chance to talk about what the hell's been going on. There's been so much crazy shit happening. Well, first of all, the Iran stuff

was such a close call. That was legitimately terrifying. I remember we were like texting each other

just being like, this could really be it. So, you know, that's still really scary how close we

were and are. And really the only reason that nothing ended up happening is because of Iran's de-escalatory

response to our belligerence.

So that was really crazy.

People should check out the Empire Files interview we did with Dan Cavalloc, not about those

events per se, but just about the entire history of the U.S. aggression and undermining of Iran's

democratic processes and just government in general. And it's just an absolutely mind-blowing interview

because even if you think you know a lot about Iran-U.S. relations, it's just like really

digs into some unknown, uncharted territory

that was really surprising to me. So check that out. And yeah, the Yasha Levine interview I thought

was awesome. I mean, Yasha has this really cool tendency where he can just take a really unique

approach on something that seems so relevant, you know, immigration, how

immigrants are weaponized and just really structured in such a way that's pretty explosive.

I thought it was a really incredible enlightening conversation. His blog series is really great.
