Yeah, you've been kind of involved in a whirlwind recently.

So that's what we're going to talk about today. This episode's going to be

kind of me interviewing Abby about what's going on with her right now. I think it's an interesting

and important enough story to do a whole Meteoroute's episode about it. So what is generally

known now as the Israeli Anti-Boycott Act was a piece of legislation that has been kicked around for many years in Congress and Senate, but has never ended up actually passing a vote.

It essentially enables U.S. states to make their own anti-boycott divestment sanctions laws that force any contractor with that state

to sign a pledge saying that they would not boycott Israel.

This legislation was last proposed in March of 2017 and was co-sponsored by Marco Rubio,

Corey Booker, Susan Collins, and a few other crazy Zionists.

In 2019, Marco Rubio brought the bill back as the Combating BDS Act, which also failed.

And even though these legislations haven't passed at the federal level yet, the general climate since Trump got in office is such that dozens of U.S. states have ended up passing their own loyalty to Israel laws, making a violation of their own state laws to practice BDS while

working as a contractor for that particular state. Even people requesting aid for the last major

hurricane and flood that hit Texas discovered that they were not allowed to

collect aid if they did not sign a loyalty pledge to the state of Israel. So all these things
