And listen, we've had some disagreements on this show, haven't we?

What are some of our, what are some of our famous disagreements that the knowing faith listeners would go, oh yeah, Nephilim? We've disagreed on the Nephilim. What else? We've got a recurring disagreement with. Christophonies. Christophonies. Jesus alive and well in the Old Testament. You guys say no. As you can see, we've resolved that one.

Yeah, yeah. The appropriate kind of mania around Chick-fil-A sauces, J.T. does just Chick-fil-A sauces

like an absolute psychopath. Jen and I are just normal people who get one sauce, not five varieties.

What are other disagreements we've had here uh the role of is real in

eschatological yes yes i don't know that we disagree on that one i just always like to play the ad

just want to remind you that romans 9 to 11 there it is yeah because we we forget listen we've had had, we've had disagreements on this show because the goal of knowing faith isn't for us to all agree or for you to download our theology, but for you to learn how to do theological engagement with one another. We don't need you to do JT's jump scares and we don't need you to be as articulate as gin is. What we want you to learn how to do is to engage in theological collaboration and construction together.

Listen, our whole project, everything we're doing, the things we're writing, the podcasts that we've made,

all of these things are with a goal in mind, which is to address the crisis of biblical and theological

literacy by moving you from a consumer of biblical and theological literacy by moving

you from a consumer of theology and Bible to a collaborator and a contributor in this great

conversation. We think you can do this. We want to invite you in exploring some thorny topics

alongside us. So this whole season, we are addressing some really tricky questions. We are going to ask questions like, do Christians

have to tithe? Has therapeutic language invaded the church? We're going to ask things like,

is the death penalty biblical? What about Christian nationalism? Thumbs up, thumbs down,

thumbs in the middle. Does God have emotions? Could Jesus have sinned?

What about, can Christians gamble? Can I bet an ice cream with my daughter over a game of

Monopoly? What if I want to bet $100,000 on who wins the Super Bowl? Are there differences?

We are going to address these questions. Gin, how are you feeling about this going into the season?

I feel nervous. Do you not feel nervous? We were talking about what questions to do, how are you feeling about this going into the season? I feel nervous.

Do you not feel nervous? We were talking about what questions to do. And I was like, man, if we don't feel scared, then they're not real questions. That's how I feel about this season. Yeah. I almost just said, I'm surprised you're nervous because you're an enneagram 8, which means we should also probably talk about the usefulness of personality tests. The enneagram is in Satan's tool yes or no.
