In the Christmas Q&A, J.T. and Kyle had a discussion about whether Paul was referring to a literal Israel in Romans 9 through 11.

In Romans 1126, it says that all Israel will be saved.

And it was agreed that this does not mean that all Israelites will be saved.

So my question about that is the word all and similar words that are all inclusive.

In Romans 323, what are you doing?

Here we do not think it is.

How do we decide what the writer meant with the original audience would understand about usage of words like that? I'm hoping to get Jen into the Frey. Oh, gosh. Me too. Let's get Jen to Frey. Okay, so basically, why in Romans 323 do we think all means all? In Romans 1126, we don't think all means all. That's a great question. All Israel will be saved in Romans 1126.
