So, you know, one of the things we preach a lot on the extra channel, on the active self-protection, extra YouTube channel is church safety.

John teaches it, Neil teaches it.

And I think, not to get too far afield here, but I think some people look at church

security as like everyone's thinking active shooter. That seems to be what everyone thinks about

when they think of church security. The odds of that happening at your church are not zero,

but they're pretty close to it. The odds of an active shooter showing up at your individual church are very, very slim. The odds of that happening at your church are not zero, but they're pretty close to it.

The odds of an active theater showing up at your individual church are very, very slim.

The odds of an unruly homeless person are a lot higher.

The odds of there being a custody dispute, you know, where mom and dad have split up,

and now there's a court order, and you don't know how that works works and dad shows up angry saying it's his weekend or a medical emergency.

So what I'm what I'm getting at here is a general statement to everyone listening is if you are in your shirt security team or you're leading it, make sure you get some training first of all and second of all.
