Summary

Acts 4:32-27 - Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. 33 And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. 34 There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold 35 and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need. 36 Thus Joseph, who was also called by the apostles Barnabas (which means son of encouragement), a Levite, a native of Cyprus, 37 sold a field that belonged to him and brought the money and laid it at the apostles' feet.

0:50.4	It's an account from the Book of Acts where Peter and John had healed a man in the name

0:56.2	And they've just been released from the officials who questioned them and they prayed that God
1:00.8	would give them extra power and extra boldness as they go out and speak the Word of God.
1:06.0	And we're picking up in chapter 4, verse number 32.
1:08.6	And we're going to read to verse 37, and this is one of my favorite passages in the Book
1:13.3	of Acts because it is church like it is supposed to be.
1:17.6	This is a wonderful, beautiful description of what was happening among these believers
1:22.6	because of the presence of the Holy Spirit and their devotion to God.
