I'm Scream Hey friends, welcome back to another episode of Truth Talks with Tara and Merry Christmas.

Friends, we are just a couple weeks away from Christmas. It is fast approaching. And I am so grateful to be able to sit down with a new

friend. And I hope this episode is an exhale, is a pause, is a breath of fresh air in the

middle of how overwhelming and busy and distracting sometimes Christmas can be. Because honestly,

I think we all say as Christians in our minds that we know what Christmas is really all about and what it should be centered about, but it's easy to get caught up. And so I hope that this episode can help us kind of re-center on what matters. And so we have the wonderful Amy Lowe here, and we're going to be talking all about that for you. Before we start, though, friends,

I would love for you to meet Amy? Amy, would you tell us a little bit about who you are,

what you do? And then I want to hear a favorite thing you're loving in your life. It could be Christmas related, but it doesn't have to be. Okay. Well, hello, everyone. My name is Amy Lowe,

and I serve as the director of wind-shaped camps for girls and

wind-shaped camps for family. So basically, I serve on a team that plans special camp experiences

for young people, and we have fun all the time, planning camp, thinking about camp. I have the best

job. I love it so much. i'm a wife to matt we just

just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary this month so that's exciting we we have two kids

both are in their teenage years right now so we're busy just trying to soak up the moments with

them as they're getting older. And what I'm loving right now, that's a fun question. What I'm

loving right now, Tara, is special. It's like regular walks outside. I think as parents,

especially as moms, we carry a lot of weight and burden on ourselves. And what I have

found is that a regular walk outside, alone in nature, moving my body, spending time praying has been

such a game changer for me. It's harder to do, you know, now that it's cold outside.

Right. But when I am able to do it, I really, I feel the difference and I'm able to kind of

release that burden and get that white space that I feel like I need. I'm also an introvert. So maybe

that has something to do. But regular walks outside for me have been such a big

just release. And I want to continue that. I think that's great. And it's a lot of, I think,
