Today we're going to be looking at the Gospel of John chapter 13 verses 12 through 15.

And to set the stage for this episode, you need to understand that Jesus has just washed

the feet of his own disciples.

There was no servant available to do the customary washing, and so he did it himself.

And Peter gave him a little bit of pushback, but he got through that and got Peter's

feet washed right along with everyone else.

And then we come to verse 12.

It says, when he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place,

he said to them.

Do you understand what I've done to you?
