I'm sure like a lot of you yesterday, when you heard the news about poor Matthew Perry,

it was heartbreaking because so many of us loved and still loved friends.

It will always be remembered as one of the greatest sitcoms ever.

And I recently discovered about five years ago when we moved here,

when my daughters started to watch it again from scratch.

And you watch it again, it's still so funny, relentlessly funny.

Over 270-odd episodes they did in the end.

And every single one of them, you have these big belly laughs.

And the whole six of them were so good together.

You watch it again now and you realize they had lowly paid jobs

and yet in probably large apartments.

None of it actually made sense when you watch it again,

go, hang on a minute, they all have had menial jobs. They're living in these amazing penthouse apartments in New York.

We skip the reality. It's called a sitcom. But all six of the cast members were incredible, right?

However, for me, Matthew Perry, as Chandler Bing, I always thought was the pure kind of comedy

king of that show.

He would take even a line that wasn't the best line and would just knock it out the park.

He had this unbelievable timing.

And he was a great physical comic.

Whenever I sort of imagine him now and in those scenes, it's the physicality he had as well.

Obviously, Joey was very physical and kinetic in his comedy as well.

But to me, Matthew Perry, I thought, was the purest, funniest one in that.
