She sued the company for not accommodating her religious convictions about contraception.

In 2021, CBS stopped providing any accommodations regarding what they called pregnancy prevention services.

Forced to choose between her job and her faith, Strader, a CVS minute clinic employee, who had never had to prescribe

contraceptive since she started working there in 2015, sued the company for violating her religious freedoms.

will recognize the religious liberty of their employees and work to protect those rights.

Yes, let's hope so. After all, with CVS set to offer the abortion pill at more of its stores,

cases like this are likely to become more common.

Nurses and pharmacists who have religious convictions need more than just settlements.

They need companies and employers to respect their religious convictions and not force

them to choose between their faith and their livelihood.
