Welcome to the Feminid Podcast. This is Nancy Wilson. Thanks for joining me today. The topic today is how to know what God wants you to do next. How does a Christian make decisions? For instance, in our community here, we have many college students and

high school students, and come May, or actually much sooner than May, they will be making decisions

0:28.3

about what to do next. Are they going to go to college? If so, where? What should they study?

0:34.2

Where will they live? How will they pay? And if they're finishing college, what is the next

1:36.0

We can't just look to our own intellect to decide. Our leaning and trusting must be in the Lord,

1:42.5

100%. If you're a high school age and living at home,

1:46.5

your parents obviously have some authority over your decisions,

1:49.9

especially if they will be the ones footing the bill.

1:52.7

So you should seek their counsel and treat them with honor and respect.

1:56.9

Parents are given to us for a reason.

1:59.0

Ask God to use them to guide you with wisdom.

2:02.3

Even if you have the ability to pay for school yourself, you should still honor and respect your parents and seek their input.
