He's a priest of the Archdiocese of Detroit and is currently the executive director of a

non-profit organization called Acts 29, which exists to work with pastors and their teams to transform their parish culture and reclaim the church's missionary identity. He was ordained in 1996.

Father Ricardo earned his licentiate in secret theology from the Pope St. John Paul II Institute for Marriage and the Family.

For this talk on Fatherhood, Father Ricardo gaveable was billed as a Father's Day talk.

He spoke about our relationship with our Heavenly Father and about the relationships we have with our wives and children, especially with our sons.

And just what is our task as fathers?

According to Pope St. John Paul II, is to teach our children to know God.

And it's amazing. As we perform that task, we draw closer to God.
