He's a priest of the Archdiocese of Detroit and is currently the executive director of a

non-profit organization called Acts 29, which exists to work with pastors and their teams

to transform their parish culture and reclaim the church's missionary identity.

He was ordained in 1996.

While at the then-Cardomita Institute at the St. John's Center for Youth and Family, Father

Ricardo gave a sixth evening mission in the main chapel of the former seminary.

The overall title was, No Greater love has a man than this.

The topic and the title of this fourth mission session is,

Redemptive Suffering.

Father Ricardo unfolds for us the vexing subject of redemptive suffering,

where we, or others, who are suffering suffering greatly unite ourselves in prayer with Christ.
