Summary

Welcome to the third episode of our four-part series featuring Dale Partridge and Trevor West. In this installment, we'll continue our journey through chronic illness, suffering, and healing, while emphasizing the vital importance of relying on God's promises, even when we may not 'feel' His presence. In this episode, Dale explores the concept of not allowing our emotions to guide us in the context of chronic illness. Instead, we'll discuss how our emotions should be shaped by the timeless truth found in God's Word. We'll delve into the significance of nurturing a steadfast faith in God's promises and how discovering peace in Christ can lead to transformative healing in your life. We'll also touch upon practical steps you can take to initiate healing within your body using natural and effective approaches. If you've ever questioned how to navigate the complexities of healing while keeping your faith securely anchored, this series offers invaluable insights tailored just for you.

1:38.8

just to kind of start off before we get some questions going, you know, one thing I want to remind

1:42.9

you guys is that we have to learn how to lean on the promises of God instead of the presence of

1:49.1

a spiritual feeling. This is something that is required of suffering. When you're in the midst of

1:53.6

suffering, you need to learn how to not take how you feel and make it the arbiter of spiritual truth.

2:04.4

Right. Because you need to rely on scripture because your feelings, your body will lie to you,

2:12.0

will create an alternative narrative to scripture. And so you want to understand that suffering

2:18.9

is deeply theological. Right. And for that reason, we should have a theology of suffering before we
