Summary

This week on the Sunny in PHX Podcast, Charlie Erling and Mitch Krmpotich talk a recent Phoenix Suns trade, Chris Paul's new contract with the Suns, and other free agency news revolving around the team. The guys start off the show talking about the trade with the Broooklyn Nets. The Suns sent Jevon Carter and the #29 pick to the Nets, and in return got the young shooting guard, Landry Shamet. Shamet will slot right in as our backup SG and fills a position the team has been lacking at. After that, the guys get into free agency talk. Chris Paul is the main story, after signing a 4 year, $120m deal with the Suns. Cameron Payne and Abdel Nader also recently signed deals with the team to stick around and build on their FInals apperance. The Suns then went out and signed a veteran big-man in JaVale McGee. The guys have been shouting about the team finding a backup C, and McGee checks all the boxes.
