Chris Ngo is the cofounder of the menswear brand The Leverage. From what began as a boutique mens’ streetwear agency has evolved to a vertically structured conglomerate, built around wholesale and direct-to-consumer sales, in-house design, production, and distribution, with eight portfolio brands (Embellish, Haus of JR, Crysp, Karter Collection, Lifted Anchors, Club Paradise, Diet Starts Monday and Richie Le Collection) – all self-funded and independently operated in Ngo and Ramirez’s hometown of Orange County, CA. With their combined 15+ years in sales and marketing experience within the men’s streetwear fashion space, Ngo and Ramirez created The Leverage with the vision to uncover and amplify emerging streetwear brands by leveraging their existing relationships with privately-owned boutiques in the urban market from coast to coast, bridging the gap and building a profitable business between both their brands (portfolio and third party) and retailer partners.
