When Texas passed their SB8 law, that was the abortion law, the fetal heartbeat law,

and it basically said if you know of somebody that is performing an abortion, or if you

know of somebody that's had an abortion, or if you know of somebody that works at an abortion

clinic, or if you know of somebody that gave someone a ride to an abortion abortion, or if you know of somebody that works at an abortion clinic,

or if you know of somebody that gave someone a ride to an abortion clinic, or if you know of someone that sold a tie to a doctor who performed an abortion, or if you know of somebody

that changed the tires on the Uber that took somebody to an abortion, you could sue them

And the real kicker on the Texas law is that the lawsuit had to be covered by the people that were sued. At least they

couldn't ask for attorney fees. It also didn't have to be somebody from Texas.

So, in fact, I believe it was the first case that was brought was somebody from Indiana

that was saying they were going to sue people in Texas for having an abortion.

Basically, you accuse someone of having an abortion, you file a civil suit for $10,000 and then

the person that's been accused has to prove that they didn't and even if they're successful

they still have to pay their lawyers they have to pay their own their own court fees there was

no downside to somebody filing the lawsuit in Texas over abortion. Well, then

Roe v. Wade got overturned by the Supreme Court, and all of that goes to the wayside. Doesn't

really matter. But we saw it playing out, and we knew how ridiculous it was. And anybody that was commenting on this at all said,
