Hi Dr Laura, you're ready to celebrate.

We got a win and I owe it to you as well.

How so?

Yeah, so you're going to love this. My son is 28 years old. He has been dating a young lady who, you know, from all up here, my husband and I think she's a lovely young lady. They've been engaged about six months not quite just under planning

on getting married next year next fall and so he calls me last night from very upset.

I'm like, what's wrong?

And he said, well, a young lady and I broke up.

And I said, why?

What in the world?

And he said, mom, he said, she wants us to move in together before we get married.

And I told her absolutely not. And she tried to convince me, me oh it'll save us money for our

wedding and and all the things and he said it hit me dead square between the

eye he said I've heard you and dad tell me all my life that you know marriage is a covenant and all

of these things and I remember listening to Dr. Laura in the car when we were going to soccer practice.

And this is just not what I want.

What kind of wife is she going to be?

What kind of mother will she be?

You know, we don't have the same moral than ethics and virtues.

And I just can't marry a woman like that.
