There is nothing worth living for unless it is worth dying for.

My grandmother lived a life devoted to Jesus, and today her talks have been made available

in their original form.

So you too can be built up through the insights and mysteries God revealed to her throughout

her ministry.

Now without further ado, here is Elizabeth Elliott.

So you have seen number three, I hope there isn't a number four somewhere else.

But a tiny little lady from Fort Worth, Texas, heard my story.

She herself had just been widowed.

And so she said to me, Elizabeth, how in the world do you ever get two hooves, three hooves?

So when I told her my story, she said, I believe I'm going to rent my house out to three

widowers.

I just love that Texas accent.

I believe I'm going to rent my house out to three widowers.

Now as far as I know, she never did do it.

But it's an idea for some of you widows.

Okay, let's sober up now and I want to talk to you.

My topic this afternoon is choose your attitude.

And let's not make excuses for ourselves and say that we can't choose our attitudes.

God has so ordained that we are capable of choosing many things, including our attitude.

Now as I confessed to you earlier this morning, I am a worry ward.

I am very easily disturbed.
