This is the Salaback Church podcast.

Today we are in the fifth and final week of a message series we've been in called Uncommon Sense.

And we've been looking at many of Jesus' principles around money, a lot of what the Bible teaches in terms of our heart, our habits, how we think.

And today we're going to wrap up the series.

But before I get to the message, I do want to highlight what we're going to do next week.

So we're kicking off a brand new series called Be a Light.

And this series is based on the reality that when Jesus came from heaven to earth,

he came to bring light to a dark world.

So Jesus came with hope.

He came with joy and peace.

And Christmas reminds us of that.

And those of us who are followers of Jesus

who've received his light,

God calls us to be a light to the world.

And I personally believe that we are alive

at one of the greatest times in human history.

We have the opportunity and a window in time to see God move in our generation. And one of the

questions is, will the church be a light in the darkness? Rather than hollering at the darkness,

what if we shine the light and the love of Jesus and see him make an impact this

holiday season?

So that's what we're going to focus on starting next week.
