So, Rose, what have you been doing since our last episode?

So having slagged off Netflix quite roundly two episodes ago, I've actually spent most of the last couple of weeks watching Netflix, watching a program called Russian Doll, which is totally brilliant.

Yeah, me too.

You just finished it last night?

The ending is very satisfying, isn't it?

Yes, when I finally understood what was going on after my wife had explained it to me.

It is extremely satisfying.

So if you haven't seen it, Russian Doll is a show written and created and starring Natasha Leone,

which is basically about getting stuck in a time loop, finding yourself in the bathroom at the same party again and again and again.

And each time she dies and then goes back to the beginning again, a bit like dying in a

computer game and going back to the start.

Or Groundhog Day?

It has been compared to Groundhog Day and I can see those similarities.

Although I do think it's kind of darker and very distinctive, very different from anything which has been on TV in a while, I think.

I mean, the episodes are kind of short and sharp and punchy for a start.

So there's nothing baggy about this.
