Evergrande gets one last chance.

In the last ditch effort, a Hong Kong high court judge has given Evergrande, that's

the world's most indebted property giant.

One final chance to propose a concrete solution to its massive $300 billion debt crisis.

Failure to do so could lead to liquidation.

I asked the BBC's Nick Marsh, what happened in court today?

This is the sixth time that this hearing has been adjourned.

Basically, it's a case against Evergrande that's been brought by Top Shine Global, Hong

Kong-based company.

They're one of the many, many parties that are owed money by Evergrande.

In this case, it's a couple of $100 million, which by Evergrande's standard is actually

a drop in the ocean.

But, anyway, until now, every time the judge has said to Evergrande to all the parties

that owes money to outside of China, go away, agree on a debt repayment plan, and we can

avoid liquidation, which will be a mess for everyone.

That's been happening for nearly two years now, and today, the judge in Hong Kong has

basically said, right, this is the last time we're going to adjourn.
