was enough to put me out for weeks beforehand.

I feel like... I was sick Joe. I just remember feeling I mean listen this was a different time

yeah American Idol was happening yeah people were being talent scouted left and right always and I think we were in fourth grade. We were in fourth grade. We were given that those two lines from Amazing Grace

did we audition we auditioned and we got the part

and we were

prepared for that performance to potentially change our lives forever and

forever and I do think in a way it did it almost made things worse well yes but I also think the fact that that was our first

performance together in front of a large crowd and I think that people saw us and said maybe not now.

Maybe not now but soon. That's exactly what that was because I remember I remember finishing that performance and I remember saying

It's never gonna happen. It wasn't good. It was bad. I was like oh, I think that was the first time I faced like anxiety.

Yeah. I was like, wow, I'm really nervous. Because I also think that singing is so

intimate and personal and like we did it for ourselves and now we just did it for a

worldwide audience and that was probably just our fourth grade classmates and maybe

their families. It wasn't just. No it was the whole school.

Andrew it was the whole school and that's because I'll never forget the reason.
