Hear him join Pip as they bat stories back and forth, involving all kinds of gems including how a career path can look planned in retrospect, genuine skill vs wish fulfilment, how the piano can represent the atomic view of music and how it’s used all the time in all genres, the popularity of the pop song, how zooming in on the smallest element of a pop song can reveal so much, being disciplined but rebellious, his days playing in lingerie stores (and greater origin story), how you can’t practise performance and you can’t perform discipline and ALL kinds of other nourishing greatness.
