Welcome, welcome, welcome. This is episode 220 of the Distraction Pieces Podcast and it's my birthday!

Obviously it's not as I'm recording this. I'm recording this a week ahead in fact, exactly a week before my birthday.

But this is the birthday special and you're going to be here for two things. You're going to be here for the birthday party, which I'll get to in a minute.

But you're also going to be here for the announcement of what I'm releasing from my birthday. So previously I've released albums, books, I did a Riker toy collaboration, I've done special podcasts, I've done all sorts of stuff.

But this is a really, really special one because the most popular birthday gift I've ever released was the Riker toy collaboration.

About three years ago I think it was or four maybe. I collaborated with an artist called Riker and we made these art toys that were Scrubius Pip toys but they were the size of like a Star Wars toy and kind of in that style.

And we did a limited run of them. Well, me and Riker were chatting and we decided to come back with Riker Times Pip Part 2.

We've done a limited run of Scrubius Pip He-Man figures under the name of Masters of the Spokenverse rather than Masters of the Universe obviously.

And they look absolutely insane. Obviously they're their He-Man bodied, they're they're muscled up. They're the size of He-Man figures and wrestling figures. I need to make it clear actually in advance.

These are pieces of art, they're art toys. They're not actually toys that you take out a package and play with. They've been the packaging has been made specially to display them.

So they are kind of a display, all right, and they're an art toy. You can't like you physically, if you take them out, you can't play with them. They're made to sit there and be in case. But they're amazing.

So they're available right now only at speechdevelopmentreckles.com. Now if they're not up yet, then they're going to be up soon. It's one of those things where it's all timed to go up at a certain time, but sometimes there's delays in that. And here's the deal.

We've only made 65 and there's 75 pounds each, which is a lot of money I know, but again, you've got to understand there's only 65 made, they're hand painted, the boxes, hand glued and everything by Riker. His stuff sells for tens of thousands of pounds is bigger, is bigger item.

So if that feels expensive, trust me, it's not. So it's a limited run of 65 within that 65. There's two ultra-ray gold versions. Now you can't choose that.

That's just in the regular versions. There's 65 somewhere in there. There's 63 normal and two gold. It's luck of the draw. There's 75 pounds each.

But what we've also done and Riker came up with this halfway through, it almost finished all of them. And if you're a he-man fan, you'll know that there was a he-man character that came out a little down the line that was called Faker, which is basically just he-man, but he's blue and has orange hair.

So we've made a Faker, Scruvius masters of the spoken verse to it. Now we've only made five of these. So that's an ultra-limited run at 120 pounds. Again, I know these figures sound expensive. If they're out of your range, then honestly it's not a big deal. It's not something you need. It's a bit of fun. It's a fun piece of art.

But yeah, for a limited run of five, they've got a special, he changed the blister pack as well that they're packaged in. So the package has got like a bullet mark. Yeah, they're pretty special. And there's only five of them and they're 120 pounds.

So yeah, that's the release. I know they're pricey. So don't put yourself in debt. Don't spend above your means. That's not the point of these things. But if you, if they're within your price range, then I recommend moving quickly.

Because we're announcing it here on the podcast. The podcast goes out of midnight. I'm going to be asleep. So I'm not going to be posting about them online until later in the day. So or when I wake up, I guess. So if you've heard this before I posted about you might want to swoop quickly.
