If you had to pick one movie that touches what our culture is getting entirely wrong.

Yeah.

Children and Men does it.

Craftsmanship on the technical level, this one is right up there.

Jumping into a bus with the camera, blood ends up on the lens.

The blood is carried on the lens through the sequence.

But as I was reflecting on the scenes, it feels like you're inside. How did they do it?

We're discussing Children of Men, which is one of my favorite films.

Yeah.

And I've seen it more times than I can count.

But yesterday I rewatched it with my girls and my wife.

And it remains the good stuff.

This is an incredibly potent film.

Well, jumping into it, what, what, uh, I've, I, of course, am going to go the very religious

route with the children of men being the verse from Psalm 93. I think what it is where, where they

discuss it as, uh, yeah, thou turnest man to destruction and sayest return these children of men.

And I'm wondering, what's going on with P.D. James, I don't know, writing such a religious story.
