quarterback that we're going to have to talk about. I'm Ryan from RGR football on

YouTube as well as rogue analytics and I'm gonna fly solo here today as we get

through some things that need to be discussed and really there is only one story today that is

the situation surrounding the chief's MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes and what we

saw Thursday night was I thought a very gritty performance.

I was there in person and was able to see just how well he moved around after the fact.

What they did is Friday got back to Kansas City, I got their opinion, got a great report that no permanent ligament damage

and that is looking at the entirety of the knee.

That's very important because yes, you can have particularly for it looked from the rotation of the injury an MCL strain was something that I think was definitely a big possibility.

Didn't turn out that way. ACL, PCL, not a problem.

LCL seems intact as well.

So the stability of the need joint has come out in a very positive way and really there's not much more that the

chiefs could have asked for at that point and the big takeaway is okay at that

point we've excluded anything that's super serious that could cost him a season.

Now that's step number one a lot of good information.

Then that takes you to the second part and there is a

ligament that attaches the kneecap to a specific spot in connection with the

knee joint and that is a it has a centering effect and a lot of times when the

dislocation happens that ligament is one that is left broken.

Rucured they'll call it and at first, the initial look at the MRI came back that this is going to require surgery at some point.
