Friday I guess is what you call it. Being delayed an extra day and not playing until Monday night.

We're going to have a show for you on Sunday evening getting you ready for the specifics of that game

as the Chiefs get to Mexico City.

We'll have an update on the field conditions as we haven't seen it yet, but got some news as the

chiefs got back on their prolonged schedule after having an extra day off this week because of Monday night football.

Heard from Coach Reed, heard from

Pat Mahomes and the good news is none the worse for where one game down after the

knee injury dislocation and Pat Mahomes says he's good to go.

Yeah, that's a great sign moving forward. I think you expected that with the way he played.

He didn't really seem to have any issues with it, even late in the game.

So not too surprising, but still good news nonetheless.

Yeah and this is something that's been under the radar because I don't think anybody wanted

I didn't want to talk about it I don't know about you but

when you have a significant injury like that and he was on kind of a

sped up timeline just because of the

wherewithal the lack of damage initially due to the laxity in his ligaments and as he put it because the training staff and the doctors took care of him on the field he didn't try to move it or anything and so that prolonged the ability of him to heal because he didn't do any extra damage but still like

getting through a football game doing what you do

and being able to come back and be right back in and think of it.

I for one was a little bit wary of him, maybe having so prolonged soreness or something

like that, just first game back.
