From the land of the free and the home of the chiefs, this is the

locked on chiefs podcast. Welcome back to locked on chiefs. It's a brand new

week and there's something nice to look at with me these particular Kansas City Chiefs, lost Patrick Mahomes.

Getting to six and three looked like it was going to be a bit of a tough battle, but the story of the day is that

they got to six and three.

They did it in a new fashion, this particular roster, something I think that is an

evolution of what we're seeing here. And hey, at this point, I think we have to be happy with

where they are and the chip is pointed in the right direction.

I'm here with Chris Clark from chiefs digest.com and I'm pretty happy to be back at a great vacation

but I'm really pleased to see what happened

these two games that I wasn't able to see live.

Not to dwell on the Packers,

but I thought that was a good game,

but this one in particular,

the way that they went about it,

leaves me feeling very optimistic. How are you feeling about them?

Okay.

No, I think that it was a very optimistic type feeling that you have to have for in both those games.

Kansas City played well against the Packers and I actually had a chance to win it late in the game

but weren't able to get it done.
