locked on chiefs podcast. Welcome back to lockdown chiefs. It's another day and

this team is another day closer to their first preseason contest.

There's a lot going on as they get ready to really kind of get into the swing of

game preparation like they'll see it come the regular season.

Today, Chris has been on site at training camp recording here from a hotel room, so it sounds a little bit different. Don't be alarmed. Everything's going to be okay. But today is the topic of the day, the depth chart that was released by the organization it is technically

unofficial but there are a lot of things going on it that we need to get into Chris what's your biggest

take away it doesn't surprise me where any of these players are listed. They all have been rotating about what you would think.

The only one I guess that may be a small surprise is Blake Bell over or under Dionne Yeller because that doesn't seem to be the way it shakes out when I'm there.

But the rest of it really seems to be about what you'd expect.

So in terms of reps, is that what you're going off of?

Yeah, reps and situations I just usually see Bell on the field a little bit more than I've seen

uh... Yielder so in it's a me

I can remember Yielder dropping a pass or two. I can't really say that I remember that from Bell.

Well, that's that's significant because we've seen kind of the up and down from Dion Yielder in that, like you said, he's had a couple of

really nice grabs, four touchdowns, shades of Demetrius Harris, I hate to say,

but in terms of the way that this depth chart is laid out, I was a bit surprised by this myself, except for the fact that I think Andy Reed's been talking about Dionyielders'

athleticism and his upside all off season, all through ote a so I think maybe this is just the

initial look and they're going to let themselves play into what their true

ranking is and that's definitely possible you know Andy Reed is Reed is also the type that likes to usually give veteran guys more of a leeway I guess when it comes to the depth chart and he does rookies he really makes rookies

Earn it and the elder's been here longer I guess you may not be he might not have experience over Blake Bell but at the same time
