It's always been difficult for me to process things that are designed to be positive, but the interpretation or the way you perceive them is just so negative.

And this happened with the Kansas City Chiefs this week. Thursday, many of the players, Andy Reid,

and others met with the media, and they talk about this week's game against the Patriots

and the challenges ahead and the great coach and all of the different things. And there were many questions about the issues of last week's game. Kidarius Tony met with the media. He said, look, we've moved on. We're not talking about that. But it doesn't stop people from asking the questions. But every now and then there's a soundbite that you hear that sounds really good. And then the more you think about it, you're like,

that's the worst thing I could possibly hear.

And this is it, Justin Watson, wide receiver.

I will play it for you first.

And then I will explain why I absolutely hate this.

And, well, it goes like this.

We're coming down in the final stretch here, four weeks, so the mentality has been, just whatever

we can do to get better. I think everyone in the receiver room has been in a little bit earlier

this week. We're watching film more with the quarterback, so just small things like that

that you do anyway, just a little bit more of it.

What stands out from those film sessions? I know there's a lot of talk about alignment this week, checking with refs, checking with Pat.

There was a play in the red zone that people are looking at. What stands out from those film sessions that y'all added in? Just getting back on the same page with the quarterback.

Just making sure that every look, that we see it exactly as they see it,

hearing it straight from Pat's mouth instead of hearing it from the quarterback,
